Dorsal soft rays (total): 11-16; Anal soft rays: 10. Caudal peduncle 1-1.5 x longer that high. Maxillaries extending to the anterior border of eyes. Lateral line always complete. Upper part of body gray olive, lower part whitish yellow. Dark lateral band from eye to caudal, dark stripe in middle of caudal and black spot at tip of dorsal.
