Vertebrae: 69. Head small, considerably flattened, width almost 1.5 times greater than its depth. Caudal fin rays 9. Hypural plate single; epural absent. Abdominal disc (sucker) small (4%SL), no musculature. Peritoneum black (Ref. 33642).
