Biology
Vertebrae: 100 - 106. Most similar to Anguilla celebensis and Anguilla megastoma. It can be distinguished form A. celebensis by the relative length of the dorsal fin and from A. megastoma by the number of vertebrae. Distance between verticals through anus and origin of dorsal-fin origin 11-15 of total length.
